Build your afternoon around Nowy Świat, Krakowskie Przedmieście and Castle Square. A comfortable pair of shoes matters more than squeezing in every landmark. Pick one museum or the Royal Castle if you want an indoor stop; leave time for the Old Town streets afterwards.
#### Give a second day to green Warsaw
Royal Łazienki Park works better as its own leisurely outing than as a rushed final stop. Closer to the apartment neighbourhood, Park Szczęśliwicki and Pole Mokotowskie offer a different, everyday side of the city.
#### Return at your own pace

### Arriving at Warsaw West, without the guesswork

Railway platforms, coach stops and central Warsaw are different places. Here is how to organise your arrival.
#### Check the Polish station name
Warszawa Zachodnia means Warsaw West. Warszawa Centralna is Warsaw Central. Read the full name on your ticket rather than relying on the word Warsaw alone. For coaches, confirm the operator's boarding point at the bus terminal.
#### Leave a little room around arrival
The Airbnb listing describes the apartment as roughly a five-minute walk from Warsaw West. This is a host estimate, not a promise from every platform or terminal exit. Luggage, the entrance you use and route changes affect the walk. The public map intentionally shows only an approximate neighbourhood area.
#### Choose the bus stand, not just the junction
The map includes Rondo Zesłańców Syberyjskich stands 03, 04 and 06, as well as the Szczęśliwicka stop group. They serve different directions. WTP currently lists temporary stands 56 and 57 for Szczęśliwicka alongside stand 03 on the checked local route. Use the full stop name, your travel date and the exact stand in the live planner; construction can change boarding arrangements.
#### Coming from an airport? Plan the actual route
Search the live Warsaw public transport planner for your arrival airport, travel date and destination. Chopin and Modlin are different airports, so a generic Warsaw airport route can be misleading. Recheck transfers and the last part of the journey before you travel; we do not publish fixed fares or timetables here.
#### The address comes through Airbnb

### Blue City, Reduta & a taste of the neighbourhood

#### Pick your shopping stop by purpose
Blue City brings shops, restaurants and indoor entertainment together. G City Reduta is another local shopping centre, with groceries and a cinema among its facilities. You do not need to visit both on the same day; choose the place that matches your plans and check its directory first.
#### Cooking at home makes a longer stay easier
Reduta lists both Carrefour and Biedronka as grocery options. For a smaller top-up, the map includes a neighbourhood Żabka. The apartment kitchen has an induction hob, oven, fridge and dishwasher, so you can plan simple breakfasts or a quiet dinner after a day out.
#### Check Sunday hours before relying on a shop
Opening hours and Sunday trading arrangements can differ between shops and change around holidays. Use the shopping centre or shop's current information for the day you visit. Buy the essentials ahead of time if an early departure or late arrival would make shopping awkward.
#### Two Chinese restaurants to know
For a sit-down meal, your host recommends Pekin Duck for cooked Chinese dishes and Gulu Gulu Hotpot & Kung-Fu Ramen for hotpot. Both are listed on Drawska 29A, with Gulu Gulu at unit 89. They are separate businesses, so use the individual map link. Your host describes them as within walking distance; check the live walking route, current menu and opening times. ### An EXPO XXI trip with space to unwind

#### West Warsaw: start with Progresja
Progresja is at Fort Wola 22 and publishes a current programme on its own website. It is a useful venue to know for a music-focused trip to west Warsaw. Check your ticket for the room and entry conditions. The apartment website is independent of the venue and does not sell event tickets.
#### Other venues are city destinations
The map also marks Stodoła and COS Torwar. These are elsewhere in Warsaw, not next-door amenities. Always use the actual venue on your ticket: an artist may appear at different venues on different dates. The map is a planning directory, not a complete event calendar.
#### Plan the journey back before the doors open
Look up the return route as well as the outward trip, especially for late finishes. Public transport departures, traffic and pickup points can change.
